Forum for Youths Leadership in Bogoro, Dass & Tafawa-Balewa Federal constituency in Bauchi State has cautioned Speaker, Yakubu Dogara to toe the path of honour and bury his 2019 ambition.
Chairman of the Forum, Adamu Mohammed exclusively told DAILY POST in an interview in Bauchi.
He said, the observation is imperative in order to end political monopoly and to inject new blood in the system.
“We are not saying Dogara has not performed well, but let him bury his 2019 forth term ambition to engage other youths to contribute their quota and that is our position,” Mohammed warned.
” We expect the speaker to set the pace for perpetual reconciliation in the axis ravaged by ethnic and religious crisis so as to bring people under one umbrella to further effect development and cohesion,” added Mohammed
The Forum frowned at Dogara’s feud with Abubakar and described it as a set back to nation building, pointing out that the interest of the people is above that of a single individual.
Mohammed lamented that poverty, hunger and economic impoverishment among the constituents cannot be quantified, attributing same to lack of empowerment.
He lamented further that Dogara had not invested in any individual known to him and others.
He then urged people of the areas to reconsider voting out APC ahead of 2019, saying the party has failed.
